SPICY HONEY BAKED SALMON
yield: 2 Servings
- 2 salmon filets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp coriander
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp salt
- pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Rinse salmon and pat dry with paper towels. set aside
Mix marinade ingredients throughly in a medium bowl (large enough to fit salmon). Add salmon and let marinate for 10-20 minutes
Arrange salmon on a foil (or parchament) paper lined backing sheet, skin side down. Reserving remaining marinade for later.
Bake until slamon is cooked (approx 15-20 minutes) basting 1/2 way through with remaining marinade. Let salmon rest for 5 minutes outside of the oven before serving.
Suggestion: make sure to taste marinade!
