POTATO PUFF CASSEROLE RECIPE
yield: 4 servings
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1/3 cup Onion, chopped
- 1/3 Green Pepper, chopped
- 1 tbsp Chili Sauce or Ketchup
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz) Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1 package frozen Potato Puffs or Tator tots
In skillet combine ground beef, onion and green pepper. Cook over medium heat, breaking up meat with fork, until meat is browned and onion and pepper are tender.
Add chili sauce, undiluted soup and water.
Turn into 1 1/2 quart casserole. Cover top with frozen potato puffs.
Bake, uncovered for 35 minutes or until potato puffs are golden brown.
Suggestion: Sprinkle with shredded cheese before serving.
