CREMAY CUCUMBER & ONION SALAD
yield: 12 servings
- 10 c Cucumbers peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 onion thinly sliced
- 1 1/2 c Mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
- 1/2 c Sugar (if desired)
- 3 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
Put cucumber in a large container. Cover the cucumbers in salt. Refridgerate for 2 hours. I keep the cucumber in a collander over a bowl to drain.
Drain cucumbers, rinse throughly, place in a large container with onions.
In a seperate bowl mix Mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar. Pour on top of cucumbers and onions, Stir to combine.
Suggestion: Salt and Pepper to taste. I dont use sugar (makes it sweet)
