BACON CREAM CHEESE JALAPENO POPPERS
yield: 12 Poppers
- 6 medium Jalapenos (sliced lengthwise and seeded)
- 1/4 c Cheddar Cheese shredded
- 3oz Cream Cheese softened
- 1/4 c Green Onions chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic crushed
- 1 tbsp Cilantro
- 1/4 c Bacon bits
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet wiht Parchment paper or silicone.
Ina small bowl, stir/mash together the cram cheese, shredded cheese, green onions, cilantro, and garlic
Fill the Jalapeno halves with the mixture and place on the lined baking sheet.
Top each popper with about a tsp of bacon bits pressing lightly into the filling.
Bake for about 15 minutes or until the peppersare soft and bacon is crispy.
Suggestion: If you don't like Jalapenos try sweet bell peppers. Its yummy both ways.
